The Magic Of The Lost Temple

I had just completed Ms Sudha Murty’s Grandma’s Bag of Stories and wanted to read another one written by her. My parents got me The Magic Of The Lost Temple by Sudha Murty and what a fun adventure it was. The story is about a 12 year old girl Nooni and how her life changes when she goes to live with her grandparents in the village. She is fascinated by their stories and simple living. She learns new things and explores the place along with her new friends. On one such outing how she accidentally stumbles upon an ancient step-well forms the gist of the story. I could completely relate to it as I was at my grandparents house while reading it. What I loved about the book is that the story is set in a real village in India.

TatterTales Book Review – Disney’s My First Encyclopedia

This is the book where Fun meets Learning. My parents introduced me to this book a few years ago and ever since it has become my favourite. The topics are fun to read and informative. What attracts me to this book are the colorful, real looking photos. In addition to it, every page is adorned with a Disney character.
