TatterTales Book Review – The Magic Of The Lost Temple by Sudha Murty

Sudha Murty’s, The Magic Of The Lost Temple – Book Review by Tattertales

I had just completed Ms Sudha Murty’s Grandma’s Bag of Stories and wanted to read another one written by her. My parents got me this one and what a fun adventure it was. The story is about a 12 year old girl Nooni and how her life changes when she goes to live with her grandparents in the village. She is fascinated by their stories and simple living. She learns new things and explores the place along with her new friends. On one such outing how she accidentally stumbles upon an ancient step-well forms the gist of the story. I could completely relate to it as I was at my grandparents house while reading it. What I loved about the book is that the story is set in a real village in India. Moreover, there are also life-like photos scattered around. It’s a must read from me and if you have read it please let me know how did you find it.

About Anika

Hi! I am Anika. Thanks to my parents I am bitten by the travel bug too. I have been travelling from the time I was 2.5 months old and in these 8 years I have surely come a long way. From waking up in cars and flights having no idea when and how I reached there to planning my own Legoland trip I have done it all. I must admit I am biased to beaches but the ants and crabs give me the creeps! Also, I hate monkeys too who steal my bananas! Apart from these I am open to any adventure provided either of my parent is with me. Watch more of my videos on book reviews and travel destinations on TattleTales - Subscribe Now!
